ELSY BOGLIOLI
CEO & Founder of Bio-Up
Elsy is a seasoned healthcare executive and strategic advisor. She founded Bio-Up in 2019 to advise biotech, healthcare and venture capital firms in the HealthTech field. Bio-Up mainly supports companies in strong scale up or transformation phases which need to raise capital, grow the organization and structure their operations.
Before founding Bio-Up, Elsy was Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer at Cellectis, a French biotechnology company focused on gene editing and its applications in cell therapy in oncology. Prior to joining Cellectis, Elsy worked at BCG where she served as Partner and Managing Director, and leader of BCG’s biotech-focused business in Europe.

Strategic Advisor to CEOs and Executive Committees
In fast transformation or development phases, company managers have to run the company and reinvent it at the same time. Having worked both as a Partner in Strategy Consulting at BCG and as the COO of Cellectis, a Biotech that was evolving from a research company into a clinical stage drug development company, Elsy brings hands-on experience and expertise to support these demanding phases.
Act as a coach and sounding board to CEOs.
Support equity story creation or update, investors relations, business plan creation and fundraising efforts.
Leverage personal network to access and recruit top-notch resources to grow the company, structure it for the next phase.
Board positions
Creating and developing a successful company takes years. Being a committed Board Member is a natural follow-up to Elsy’s Strategic Advisor role. It allows for supporting clients and teams over time, creating long term value.
Work closely with management and shareholders to support the company through various stages of development.
Ensure the Board is a valuable support to the Management Team, building trusted relationships with them in order to provide tailored support, both in Board sessions and through one-on-ones.
Leverage personal network, in particular in Europe and US in order to enrich Boards and make sure they are well equipped for the company’s stage.
